Colombia faces multiple challenges in poverty, inequality, unemployment, education and the environment, which have been set back by the pandemic.

In 2020, the country had a poverty rate of 42.5%, which represents an increase of 6.8 pp compared to 2019. In addition, inequality, represented by the GINI coefficient, stood at 0.54, making it the second most unequal country in the Latin American region.

For this reason, the program will address the most relevant aspects of the new business era in relation to the creation and construction of purpose-driven companies: organizations that have social and environmental impact as their central axis to generate shared value from value chains, while obtaining financial returns.
