  • The creation of the Center for Discussion, Analysis and Prospective Studies of Mexico, AC, was approved.

During the 24th Ordinary National Assembly of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI)held at the Mexico City With the participation of more than 3,200 PRI members, significant decisions were made for the future of the party.

One of the highlights was the push to increase the stake of women in party positions, setting a goal of reaching 60 percent female representation. This measure reflects a firm commitment to promote the gender equality and ensure equitable representation within the internal structures of the PRI.

In addition, the creation of the C was approvedCenter for Studies for the Discussion, Analysis and Prospective of Mexico, AC. This initiative has the fundamental objective of finding solutions innovative to the challenges facing the country, consolidating the PRI as a relevant actor in the elaboration of public policy based on knowledge and in-depth analysis of national reality.

During the assembly, the current challenges facing the party were also addressed. Jalisco delegationrepresented by the former candidate for governor and federal deputy Laura Harocalled for unity and a clear definition of objectives in these difficult times for the PRI.

He highlighted the work of the leadership headed by Alejandro Moreno Cardenasrecognizing his commitment and leadership during the deepest internal crisis the party has ever faced.
