Peasant groups from different departments arrived at Bogota? in order to ask the national government to comply with the agreements reached. All the entities of the District, the security agencies that operate in the city, the Ombudsman’s Office and Human Rights, and with the support of the Ministry of the Interior of the National Government, installed the Institutional Command Post (PMI) and the Unified Command Post (PMU) that will monitor the day.

According to preliminary information, the caravans continue to move towards the capital of the country. For this reason, the Social Dialogue Team is accompanying the mobilizations at the following points:

– ANUC National Peasant House

The Social Dialogue Team is on the scene. The GAEPVD group, created to protect the rights of citizens during peaceful protests, is present and establishes dialogue with the peasant community, who report that they will travel north along Carrera 10 to reach Calle 26, and then west to meet with the group of people at the National University.

The Social Dialogue Team talks with the farmers’ associations, who report that they are waiting for the other leaders to arrive to specify the actions to be carried out during the day.

The District and authorities guarantee security and coexistence during the mobilizations and the right to freely protest, but urge the community to participate peacefully, prioritizing respect and empathy.
