Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that he has started his first day at the NATO summit with a “tangible result” after his US counterpart Joe Biden announced that five NATO countries will send Patriot air defence systems to Kiev. “I thank my partners, the United States, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy and Romania, for having adopted a strong statement in support of the Ukrainian air defence system to protect its people, cities and critical infrastructure,” he said on his social media profile X.
