The Ministry of Production, Science and Technological Innovation of Buenos Aires, through the Provincial Undersecretary of Tourism, was once again the protagonist in the eighteenth edition of the Caminos y Sabores fair, which took place this week in La Rural, Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.

At the Buenos Aires Province stand, Bueno, Bonito y Bonaerense, there were more than one hundred tastings of typical and innovative products from different municipalities, attracting the attention of thousands of visitors every day. On July 9, we celebrated Independence Day with a special event where we offered delicacies related to the date, with Buenos Aires Wines as the star product.

In addition, the twenty-seven sales stands that participated with the Buenos Aires Production seal sold their featured products with discounts and benefits: from honey, beer, cheese and alfajores to guacamole, gourmet teas, gin and gluten-free cookies. The Cuenta DNI benefits boosted sales of all the brands that participated in the fair.

The live cooking was in charge of Juan Bracelli, who presented his book Buenos Aires menupublished by Ediciones Bonaerenses, cooked stuffed sorrentinos from Mar del Plata and invited people to travel through the gastronomy that characterizes the Province’s tourist destinations.

Using the ReCreo app, games were played about the must-see attractions in each municipality, which were constantly attended. Attendees were also able to access all the Tourism catalogues through a QR code.

Within the framework of Caminos y Sabores, the launch of the Winter Season in the Province was also held, with information on the benefits of Banco Provincia in traditional and emerging destinations and with the presentation of the fifth edition of the program. Travel Codewhich is broadcast on Telefé.

The Ministry of Production, Science and Technological Innovation promotes participation in fairs and events on gastronomic tourism, a key sector for local development and the deseasonalization of tourist activity in the Province.
