Mike Flanagan is the perfect definition of a genre director. The filmmaker has numerous horror works behind him, among which series such as ‘The Haunting of Hill House‘, ‘Midnight Mass’ and one as recent and popular as ‘The Fall of the House of Usher’, among others. And he doesn’t plan to stop, because ‘The Life of Chuck’ just wrapped filming.
The film is based on the eponymous story by Stephen King, which is part of an anthology called ‘Blood Rules’. There is no release date, although it is confirmed that it will be released in 2024 and the cast includes the figure of Mark Hamill (Star Wars), Karen Gillan (Guardians of the Galaxy), Chiwetel Ejiofor (Doctor Strange) and Ton Hiddleston (Loki, Thor).
There is no official synopsis, but if we stick to Stephen King’s story, the story focuses on a man tormented by a brain tumor who, before dying, begins to experience strange events around him.
