Truly, it’s “here’s merchandise with Deadpool and Wolverine, but definitely not” week. Deadpool and Wolverine merchandise, because licensing takes time. rad Logan and Wade artHasbro has announced two updated movie figures of the irascible mutant duo… but it’s mainly so you have something to hold you over until today. Deadpool and Wolverine toys happen.
Today, Hasbro announced updated re-releases of two Marvel Legends Deadpool “Legacy Collection” figures of Deadpool and Wolverine. part, reissues of previous figures from the past dead Pool movies and a short series from Hasbro X Men anniversary figures, with a couple of adjustments. But it’s also a very convenient way for the toymaker to go “Look, Deadpool and Wolverine figures!” while the fans still find themselves carefully studying the trailer for the third deadpool movie.
Hasbro is certainly working on toys for the movie, but they’ll take a while, and between countless licensing deals and lookalikes, and the simple act of making toys in the first place, announcing them will take some time, and even then they probably won’t be everyone’s. Either way, it will be available until the film is released this summer. Check it out at Hasbro. star Wars equipment and the recent revelation of figures based on The acolyte for example: sure, there was the surprise of being able to see the toys revealed the day after the trailer fell, but even then, they won’t come out until long after the show’s first season has concluded. Making things takes time, and at least then Hasbro will have to Deadpool movie and to The Wolverine movie on shelves before the new movie. You just have to squint a little.
The Deadpool and Wolverine Legacy Collection will release sometime this spring for $25 each and will be available for pre-order starting Monday, April 1. (or “April Pool Day,” as Hasbro calls it). Click to see more photos!
