Staunch followers of the Star Wars saga have in mind on may 4 one of its most important events of the month. Its about Star Wars Day, the chosen date on which, worldwide, all kinds of events are carried out to honor one of the best-known sagas worldwide.
Disney did not want to miss the opportunity to do the same on this date and is going to launch a combined action in theaters and streaming to win over all its followers. While the big screen will celebrate the return of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace (Episode I), Disney+ subscribers will be able to enjoy Star Wars: Chronicles of the Empire.
Disney+ dresses up
Disney’s streaming platform, Disney+, will premiere on such a special day Star Wars: Chronicles of the Empire. An animated series created by Dave Filoni in which, as viewers, we will travel to the fearsome Galactic Empire, as its synopsis states. To do this, we will put ourselves in the shoes of two warriors, Morgan Elsbeth and Jedi Barriss Offee, who will do their best to try to overcome all the challenges that are presented to them in a galaxy that is constantly changing.
Furthermore, and as good news for the most faithful of the saga, Disney+ has also confirmed that the series will be published in its entirety on the same day. So there will be no excuses to enjoy all the episodes from the day of the premiere.
This is not the only Star Wars premiere that Disney+ is preparing. We will have to wait until next June 5 to enjoy Star Wars: The Acolyte. In this case, we will witness the confrontation of the Jedi Master with a dangerous warrior, due to a wave of crimes that occurred in the past and that immerses both protagonists in an adventure in which nothing will be what it seems.
