The film takes as inspiration one of Alfred Hitchcock’s greatest works.

Having been released in 2007, this film has positioned itself in first place on Netflix in recent days. Disturbancetitled ‘Paranoia’ in Latin America, was a great box office success, having raised 118 million dollars, against a budget of only 20 million dollars.. Likewise, the film was well received by specialized critics, with a not inconsiderable 70% approval rating on the well-known site Rotten Tomatoes.

Shortly after the theatrical release of Paranoiathe producers of the feature film received a lawsuit, as they were accused of having plagiarized the story ‘Murder from a Fixed Point of View’, written by Cornell Woolrich, which, in turn, inspired Hitchcock’s film, since they did not have the rights to the adaptation, unlike Rear Window. However, fortunately for the production team, the lawsuit did not continue, since not enough evidence was found to officially classify the case as plagiarism.

Disturbance tells the story of Kale, a young man who is under house arrest for 3 months, receiving the threat that if he steps beyond a 30-meter perimeter, he will go to a real prison. This way he lives at home, plays video games, surfs the Internet, watches television and spies on people through his bedroom window.

One of his targets is Ashley, his beautiful neighbor who soon becomes his friend and, to his surprise, is also interested in spying on other people’s lives. Everything seems to be going well between them, until one day they begin to suspect that one of their neighbors is actually a murderer.
