There’s less and less time until the premiere of Deadpool and Wolverinewithout a doubt one of the most anticipated films of the year and that keeps the audience expectant beyond fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
As usually happens with each franchise title, there has been a lot of speculation about what we can seebeing a production surrounded (and affected) by leaks and rumors.
In this scenario, one of the points that has given us the most to talk about is the possible appearance by Taylor Swiftsomething that came to the fore a while ago and continues to make noise.
Logically, this moves a significant number of peoplemixing the audience between those who are waiting for the film as such and the most faithful followers of the artist.
In addition, during the last hours a new poster was released that revived speculation and upset the fans. This, since we can see the hands of Deadpool and Wolverine with friendship bracelets that promote the release of the film in IMAX format.
But what is striking, and what generated a great stir, is that this accessory has become a distinctive piece of ‘swifties’ (Swift fans), being a clear nod to the rumors.
However, it didn’t take long for the whole picture to become clear. And the prestigious specialized media Discussing Films reported that Taylor would not be part of the film.
This comes directly from the information they would have obtained from Entertainment Weeklythrough their sources close to the UCM and prior statements of Ryan Reynolds and Shawn Levy.
Anyway, you can’t take anything for granted, since there is no completely official confirmation or statement. Likewise, we must remember the words of Reynolds himself: “anything can happen”; especially if they will explore different universes.
Now, with the cold cloths, we just have to wait to see what we will finally have in Deadpool 3 referencing Taylor Swift. Most likely there will be a couple of references, at least to her music, but we must not lose the capacity for surprise in case she has a cameo.
