Thus, and as part of his European promotional tour that took place last week, the director Fede Alvarez addressed an essential theme in every science fiction film with alien creatures: the visual effects. And after speaking with the media Metro, the Uruguayan filmmaker revealed that for ‘Alien Romulus’ he wanted bet everything on practical effects more traditional instead of the widespread CGIalways talking about the majority of scenes with the xenomorph, but not with the space flight sequences, for example.
