This weekend, with a double in the Irish capital, Girls Aloud They are back and have started their comeback tour, ‘The Girls Aloud Show‘. They have done it using great hits and without new music, because the now quartet already said that it was not the time to record new, with the death of Sarah still so present.

The tour is, indeed, a tribute to his partner. The girls pay tribute to him in several songs, with special emphasis on ‘Whole Lotta History‘ -which closes a video image of Hardin-, ‘I’ll Stand By You’ -which they interpret with their vowels for the most part-, ‘The Promise‘, with a beautiful tribute on screen, and ‘Untouchable‘, the song that opens the tour and which has projections of Sarah behind the pink curtain that initially covers the screens.

Girls Aloud They still have 28 dates left on their UK tour, which will keep them busy until the end of June. And to cheer up their followers a little, they have decided to publish a megamix of hits. Its titled ‘The Whole Damn Show’ and he is right: with a duration of more than half an hour, it is a very long summary of his greatest hits.

But of course, What does a band that is feeling nostalgic like more than a good quartzism? Girls Aloud They have also released the megamix on a limited edition twelve-inch vinyl, which will be released in August. We are going to forgive them for singing because, at least, the reissue of their original material is being very worthy, with releases on vinyl for the first time, in addition to a handful of unreleased songs and the compilation of the material from the singles on each album.

Next on the list, ‘Chemistry‘, it is possible that it will arrive in the fall, considering the pace of releases that the band has. If they finally decide to record new music as a quartet, as they did, for example, the guys from Boyzone after the death of Stephen Gately, remains to be seen. For now, let’s enjoy the tour and all the tsunami of nostalgia it’s bringing with it.
