Mick Jagger of The Rolling Stones can’t stand these four great rock bands — Futuro Chile

Mick Jagger, the legendary voice of The Rolling Stones, is one of the authorized voices to talk about rock and great bands. With six decades of experience behind him, the musician referred to different groups and one reason in particular… those that he cannot stand.

During his career, Mick Jagger spoke about various musical groups, giving both positive and negative opinions. For this reason, the Indie Hoy site grouped together his controversial statements and these were the four bands that the vocalist of The Rolling Stones does not tolerate.

The rock bands that Mick Jagger can’t stand

1.- The Specials

«Bands like The Selecter and The Specials, which are good, are also repeated. I mean, I saw bands like that in 1959. It’s the same old thing but done slightly differently.

2.- The Clash

«I don’t feel connected to groups like The Clash, the bands that still play every night. “I can only see them as repetitions of everything that happened before,” said Mick Jagger.

3.- Oasis

«Well, that’s what they do, they don’t move, that doesn’t mean they don’t connect, sometimes they connect. Sometimes, but not always in a good way,” said the historic musician.

4.- Sex Pistols

The Rolling Stones didn’t get along with punk at all. «It doesn’t matter what Johnny Rotten and Sid Vicious do. “They can’t be more disgusting than the Rolling Stones in a biting orgy,” said Mick Jagger. “They have stopped dead in the face of violence. I think even Sid Vicious is basically a good guy, but Johnny Rotten keeps talking bad about me. One day they are going to kick his rotten teeth in,” he said about the Sex Pistols.
