On the diplomatic front, The United States has urged Israel to avoid military actions that could result in further harm to civilians.. These statements came after a phone call between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Joe Bidenthe first in seven weeks. The White House reported that Biden asked Netanyahu to “minimize harm” to civilians in Gaza, particularly in densely populated areas.
