From his account in X, the Cuban Foreign Minister pointed out that the act is a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of Syria and International Law.

These unacceptable actions increase the risk of escalation and regionalization of the conflict with unpredictable consequences, Rodríguez Parrilla wrote in his message on the social network.

“We strongly condemn Israel’s attack on Iran’s diplomatic facilities in Damascus in flagrant violation of Syrian sovereignty and International Law. These unacceptable actions increase the risk of escalation and regionalization of the conflict with unpredictable consequences.”

At least six people were killed this Monday in an attack attributed to Israel against the Iranian consulate building in a neighborhood in the west of Damascus, capital of Syria.

Iranian state media said the bombing completely destroyed the building next to the Iranian embassy and that Hosein Akbari, Iran’s ambassador to Syria, was unharmed.
