About pathology

Stroke is a condition that occurs suddenly and causes the loss of neurological function. Most of these manifest themselves with three easily identifiable signs: asymmetry in the face (known as “crooked face”), difficulty speaking (unintelligible language) and weakness on one side of the body (dropping of one arm when trying to raise the hand). .

The presence of even one of these sudden-onset signs may indicate a high probability of having a stroke. In that case, It is crucial that the patient be evaluated immediately at a hospital emergency health center.

The evaluation must be agile, moving quickly to the emergency department, where the evaluation must be carried out as quickly as possible.
