The Provincial Road Safety Commission of Havana reports on the organizational measures on the occasion of the Central Act for the International Workers’ Day at the “José Martí” Anti-imperialist Tribune.

The Provincial Road Safety Commission of Havana informs the population and particularly vehicle drivers, that on the occasion of the Central Event for International Workers’ Day, next Wednesday, May 1st at the “José Martí” Anti-imperialist Tribune In the Plaza de la Revolución municipality, it is necessary to application of organizational measures aimed at guaranteeing safe mobility during the development of the activity.

Starting at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, April 30, Parking or parking of vehicles will not be allowed on the following roads:

– San Lázaro, from Prado to L.
– Prado, from Ave. Malecón to Reina.
– November 27, from L to University.
– University, from J to G.

These measures will increase with the application of closures and detours starting at 03:00 am on Wednesday, May 1st in:

– Walk, from Boyeros to Ave. Malecón.
– Malecón Avenue, from Peña Pobre to G.
– Line and 23, from G to Ave. Malecón.
– 17 and 21, from G to O.
– Causeway, from G to Line.
– Infanta, from San Lázaro to 23.
– Marina, from Jovellar to Ave. Malecón.
– L, from November 27 to Línea.
– A and 2, from Zapata to 1st.
– 1st, 3rd, 5th and Causeway, from 2 to G.
– Road, from G to O.
– L, M and N, from Línea to Ave. Malecón.
– Or, from Line to 23.

In addition to the Piragua Parking Area, the transversal roads that offer access to Ave. Malecón are included, relating among them, Gervasio, Escobar, Lealtad, Perseverancia, Campanario, Manrique, San Nicolás, Galiano, Blanco, Águila and Crespo, from San Lázaro to Malecón Ave.

Avenues and streets, Boyeros, Carlos Manuel de Céspedes, Salvador Allende, Zapata, Zanja and Reina are recommended to drivers as alternative routes.

The Provincial Commission urges road users to comply with the provisions established in this note and to maintain responsible conduct in the development of the act, as well as to be attentive to the guidelines of the authorities’ agents, in order to avoid the occurrence of traffic accidents and facilitate better vehicle circulation.
