Deltathe legendary game emulator for iPhone, It arrived at the App Store and AltStore in the European Union very recently so that users can play their favorite games from their device. At the moment, this emulator is only available on the iPhone, but coming to iPad very soonthanks (in part) to the EU Digital Markets Law.
The information comes to us directly through its creator, Riley Testut, who has made a post on his personal Threads account. In it he assures that he is finalizing the details to be able to launch the version of Delta for the iPadso it won’t be long before that happens.
Delta will also have its application for the iPad
Apple made it clear after the withdrawal of the iGBA emulator a few weeks ago that Emulators are allowed in the App Store as long as they comply with the rules. Delta can already be used on the iPhone and the same will soon happen on the iPad.
Although the permissiveness of emulators is a consequence of the EU Digital Markets Law, the company decided to allow them outside the EU through the App Store. It must be taken into account that the iPad does not currently accept alternative third-party stores, so we will have to see how it reaches the EU.
Recall that the EU recently gave Apple six months to make iPadOS comply with DMA regulations, so the alternative stores, as well as the possibility of choosing a default browser, they will have to be available on the iPad. This means that Delta may become in the AltStore.
In order to enjoy Delta on the iPhone, if you live outside the EU, just download it from the App Store. However, if you live in the EU, you must download the game emulator from the AltStore, the first alternative app store to Apple’s App Store. As you can see in the shared post, it will be a better experience on the iPad.
