Cannes will screen several films shot with Sony cameras

Sony will be present in Cannes (France) on the occasion of the International Film Festival, which will be held from May 14 to 25, with several films shot with cameras from its cinematographic line.

From independent cinema to blockbusters, Sony and its cameras are at the service of creativity and support all filmmakers, cinematographers and other technicians in their creations. From the CineAlta range with the Burano (the latest model), the Venice and the Venice 2 even the cameras FX3 and FX6all these cameras will have accompanied the best of this year’s film production.

Other films that can be seen at Cannes shot with Sony cameras include: Horizon, an American saga by Kevin Costner (Official Selection – Out of competition); C’est pas moi by Leos Carax with photography by Caroline Champetier (Official Selection – Premiere in Cannes); Chateau Rouge by Hélène Milano and photography by Jérôme Olivier (ACID); Most people die on Sundays by Iair Said (ACID); either A pie en flamme by Mona Convert with photography Mona Convert and Tao Rousseau (ACID).

Sony will also organize the Thursday May 16 at 8:00 p.m. at the Hôtel Martinez (Cannes), a CineAlta evening during which the Venice 2 and Burano cameras will be exhibited and presented, as well as the Rialto 2 extension system for the Venice, and the Crystal LED screen for virtual production. The range of professional monitors, including the PVM-X3200 and LMD-A180, will complete the virtual production studio, in collaboration with Plateau Virtuel (access by invitation only)
