evidentiary video

This public statement from Diddy comes after the release of surveillance video showing a 2016 incident at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, The Angels.

The images, broadcast by CNN, confirm the allegations of physical abuse detailed by Cassie in a lawsuit filed in November 2023.

In the video, Diddy is seen following Cassie down a hallway, grabbing her by the back of the neck, throwing her to the ground, kicking her as she lies motionless, and dragging her before walking away.

The incident occurred during an on-again, off-again relationship between the rapper and the singer that lasted from 2007 to 2018. The victim detailed in her lawsuit that the artist became “extremely intoxicated and punched Ms. Ventura in the face, causing her a black eye.” .

Although the two reached a settlement the day after the lawsuit was filed, the resurfaced video reinforces Ventura’s allegations of physical abuse.
