What is it about The Practitioner, a Spanish Netflix film

The film focuses on Angel (played by Mario Casas), a young man who works as a Health Emergency Technician, in charge of transferring patients, and Vane (played by Déborah François), a veterinary student with whom he has a romantic relationship.

Throughout the plot, Ángel exhibits behaviors characteristic of gender violence, fueled by jealousy and the conviction that their partner is being unfaithful. Her control over her intensifies, after suffer a work accident which leaves him with reduced mobility in the lower part of his body. The film maintains constant suspense and shockingly reflects a reality that many women face today.
