Dimayor sanctioned Atlético Bucaramanga

The Dimayor disciplinary committee confirmed the sanction that Atlético Bucaramanga will have a few days before the final against Santa Fe. The decision arose after the fans of the Bumangués team invaded the field of play to celebrate the victory last Saturday, 8 June, at the Alfonso López stadium.

“Sanction Club Atlético Bucaramanga SA (“Bucaramanga”) with three (3) dates of total suspension of the place and fine of thirteen million six hundred fifty thousand ($13,650,000) for incurring the infraction described in sections 1, 4.5, 6, 7 and 8 of article 84 of the CDU of the FCF; for the events that occurred in the match played in the Final First Leg of the League,” it was reported through the document.

Apart from the harsh sanction, the players will have to face what is coming regarding the definition of the title at the El Campín stadium. The Atlético Bucaramanga team will arrive in the country’s capital with the dream of winning the first star of the year, which would mean the leopard team’s first title in its 75-year history.
