This Sunday Madrid experienced a unique night thanks to Daymé Arocena. As a weapon, the Cuban brought his voice and those new rhythms resulting from her ‘Almeki’. The victims, who were there, were devastated by the taste of their fusion and by that nostalgia for a Cuba that, thanks to it, felt closer to the Spanish capital.

Since last February, Daymé has been touring the world with her new album, the fifth studio album that appeared under the production of Eduardo Cabra and in which the singer once again puts her personal stamp through a mix of neo-soul singing, Afro-Caribbean rhythms and modern pop.

In the Sala Villanos scene, Daymé was accompanied, among others, by Yoyi Lagarza, Ayme Canto, and Magela Herrera, who were joined by several luxury guests. First, the Canarian singer St Pedro with whom the Cuban joined her voice to give a magical moment.

Then, the Spanish composer, producer and guitarist Javier Limón joined. A luxury without a doubt. And if that were not enough, his countryman Joao del Monte, to the rhythm of “Suave y Pegao”.

His fans were able to enjoy not only the new songs that this phonogram brings because Arocena went further back, just to those hits from his ‘Cubafonía’ and his ‘Sonocardiogram’ that awakened nostalgia and made more than one of those present party.

On stage she is a hurricane, a monster, a goddess, but above all, a true artist, the kind who gives everything to everyone. Now it continues to tour the US, so pay attention to those who want to enjoy this unrepeatable and authentic show called Daymé Arocena.
