The winning numbers for today’s EuroMillions draw, Tuesday 9 July 2024, were 06, 15, 19, 28, 39. On the other hand, the star numbers were 07 and 11.

The EuroMillions lottery is a transnational lottery that is played in several European countries. It was created in 2004 by a consortium of lottery operators, and its first draw was held on 13 February of that year.

The aim of the EuroMillions draw is to offer larger and more attractive prizes than those offered in the national lotteries of each participating country. To play, participants must choose five numbers from 1 to 50 and two additional numbers, known as “stars”, from 1 to 12. Prizes are awarded based on the number of correct numbers and the star numbers.

The initial consortium that launched EuroMillions was made up of lottery operators from Spain, France and the United Kingdom. Over time, other countries joined, including Portugal, Austria, Belgium, Ireland, Luxembourg and Switzerland, among others. Today, EuroMillions is played in a total of 13 European countries.

EuroMillions has delivered some of the biggest prizes in the history of European lotteries, including several record jackpots worth hundreds of millions of euros. In addition, part of the profits from ticket sales are donated to social and cultural aid programmes in participating countries, making EuroMillions also a way to contribute to the well-being of European society.
