Deportivo Riestra and Godoy Cruz are measured this Saturday at 4:00 p.m. at the Guillermo Laza stadium, in a match of date 16 of the Argentine League Cup.
In the tournament, Deportivo Riestra comes from drawing against Independiente 0-0 while Godoy Cruz comes from winning against Atlético Tucuman 1-0.
Deportivo Riestra adds 21 points in the standings, while Godoy Cruz has 17 points.
Argentina has six places for the Copa Libertadores 2026. The champions of the League Cup, the Professional League and the Argentine Cup will obtain a quota each. The remaining places will be obtained by the first three of the annual general table that have not been champions. This classification contemplates the points obtained in the LPF 2024 (27 dates) and in the instance of areas of the League Cup (14 days). Meanwhile, the South American 2025 will be six other teams, which will also leave that same general table and will be the best located after those classified to the Libertadores. If a team that occupies the positions of classification to the South American were already classified to the Libertadores for having been champion of any of the aforementioned tournaments, the place in the South American will be for its most immediate persecutor in those positions.
