At the architectural level, the property is an example of adapting an abstract architectural concept to a very specific place and landscape. The symbiosis of the house and the environment develops through a single plant construction under the Cup of the Pinos. The housing was a project of the Barcelona architect Antoni Bonet Castellana for the marriage Ricardo Gomis and Inés Bertrand, and was built between 1957 and 1963. In 2021 it was declared a cultural of national interest in the category of historical monument by the Generalitat, the highest figure in the current order in the field of historical heritage in Catalonia.

After six decades of use, the building retains its original characteristics, having been the subject of a careful restoration of the roofs and external carpentry in 1997. It also retains its furniture, largely designed by the architect himself, which is included in the declaration file as part of its history.
