The Minister of Science, Innovation and Universities, Diana Morant, has visited the traveling exhibition of El Prado in the streets located in the Viveros de Valencia gardens. She has been accompanied by the Government delegate in the Valenciana, Pilar Bernabé; and by the organizing entities of the exhibition Francisco Lardío, head of International Projection and Programming of the Prado Museum; and Ibán Molina, delegate of Iberdrola in the Valencian.
The El Prado exhibition in the streets, which can be visited until May 25, consists of 50 large photographic reproductions that recreate the original work of the great masters of painting such as Goya, Velázquez, Rubens, Durero, Rembrandt, El Bosco, Caravaggio, El Greco, Sorolla or José de Ribera.
Iberdrola España Foundation, protective member of the Prado Museum
The Iberdrola Spain Foundation develops one of its main axes of activity around the care and maintenance of the cultural and artistic wealth of our country. He collaborates with the Prado Museum since 2010 through support for the conservation and restoration programs of the Pinacoteca, as well as in the development of four annual scholarships for restorative young people. In addition, in 2019, the extraordinary program for the commemoration of the Bicentennial of the Prado Museum adhered to the extraordinary program and, the deployment of this itinerant exhibition in Spain was carried out.
The Iberdrola Spain Foundation has allocated, since 2011, a total of 13 million euros to the area of art and culture, which focuses its resources on various programs, such as illuminations, which contemplates the design, execution and financing of artistic lighting projects in singular buildings and monuments of cultural interest, it also has in the Restorations program, which supports the restoration workshops of reference museums for the preservation of their heritage pictorial and artistic.
In the Valencian Community, the lighting of the Vilafamés walls, the Chapel of the Holy Callix of the Cathedral of Valencia, as well as the lighting of the Palau de la Música and the restoration of the upholstery of the Church of El Patriarca.
