The call has been published in the Official Gazette of the Community of Madrid on April 29, 2025. The deadline for submitting applications is fifteen business days, from April 30 to May 23. The total amount allocated has increased by € 50,000 compared to the call of the year 2024 and amounts to € 300,000.
The subsidy is aimed at natural persons who are autonomous professionals or private cultural entities, with a minimum age of two years with respect to the date of publication of the call and who have as a corporate activity and object, unique or among others, the realization of activities to promote reading, book and cultural publications.
The projects presented must be related to the following purposes:
a) Projects and activities to promote reading carried out in the Community of Madrid.
b) Projects and activities that strengthen the operation of the book sector carried out in the community.
Each applicant may submit a maximum of two projects, one for each group established according to their purpose.
Among the objectives of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Sports is to enable measures to strengthen the book sector, as well as promote the performance of reading activities. To this end, these aids are convened annually.
