Manolo García, Jesús Carrasco and Marcos Vázquez, in the final traca of the Book Fair


The Lee Book Fair arrives this Sunday to an end after three authors’ meetings with readers have aroused great interest: Manolo García with his’ puppet with ‘, Jesús Carrasco with’ Praise of hands’ and Marcos Vázquez with ‘Invict’. Members of Reading of the Province, librarians, readers and followers of the three authors have talked with them to learn about the ins and outs of their works, their creation processes and the future projects they have.

The councilor and deputy of Culture, María Ángeles Martínez; and the Culture Coordinator of the Board of Communities, Yolanda Rozalén, have presented some of the acts of these days, while the deputy of Fair and Tourism, Mayte Megía, and the regional deputy Ángel Tomás Godoy have also accompanied.

In addition, presentations of editorial novelties and book signatures in the institutional booth with Mª Cruz Porras and ‘Alma de Cruz’, José Luis Serrano with ‘Where the gargoyles cry’, Mario Romero and Celia Martínez with ‘The successful entrepreneur who wants to be’, Óscar Cavadas with ‘Everything begins with a hole’ and Carlos H. Sacristán with ‘In a brief dream’.

The little ones have enjoyed the colorful ‘Tarzan, the musical’, while the puppets of mambrú and the real machine, with ‘the dragon swallow’; the musical performance of Pilar Cuadrado; and the storyteller with Rafa Ordóñez have had to move to the Aguirre Cultural Center due to the intermittent that has not stopped making an appearance. There will also take place this afternoon the performance of the Passion Flamenco Group.

For its part, the Iberia building room has been filled again this Sunday with the authors and attendees of the ‘Books To Lovovers’ event, coordinated by the Cuenca writers Julia and Silvia de la Fuente.
