The book “Memories of the Ideal Bar” is presented

Seventeen years passed since the appearance of the memoirs of what is undoubtedly the most important and iconic bar in Tandil, and when the new recently opened bar society launched the opening, it promoted the second edition of the book that this Thursday will be presented in the ideal.

With the prologue of Nestor Dipaola, the new “Memories of the Ideal Bar” went from the 93 initial pages at 200 in this second edition, given the elapsed time and the new material that appeared, in correlation with the change of the form of the city and its uses and customs. The bar, founded in 1932, became a classic of all the generations that visited it until next to the end of the last century closed its doors. After himself there was a lifetime of anecdotes, characters, rites and prodigal stories of what the hage calls as “the tandil of happy years.”

On Thursday, in the “Altos del Ideal”, a space that recovered the new society in charge of entrepreneurship, the Hage will present its new book, accompanied by actor Pepo Sanzano, with whom they will tell stories of the bar over time, full of humor and nostalgia.

The event will be this Thursday, May 8, at 7. With free admission, no place reservations are made, which is limited, so punctuality is recommended.
