Tierra del Fuego present at the Book Fair

Hierra del Fuego participates in the 49th edition of the International Book Fair of Buenos Aires that takes place until May 12 at the Rural Fairground. The province, which integrates the stand of the Patagonia cultural entity together with the other jurisdictions of the region, exposes the titles of the cultural editor and develops different presentations and talks with Fueginian writers.
The six Patagonian provinces (Tierra del Fuego, Santa Cruz, Chubut, Neuquén, Río Negro and La Pampa) again present themselves together in a common space within the fair, generating a cultural synergy that enhances the dissemination of authors and literary material in the region.
Since April 24, the day in which this new edition of the Fair began, the cultural editor deployed a schedule of activities that includes presentations of books and talks with Fuegian authors, which are held in the stand and are interspersed with those organized by the other Patagonian provinces.
The schedule began with the talk “The books and the trade”, by Pablo Nardi, and continued last weekend with the presentations of the books “The Geometry of Water”, by María Clara Vickacka; “Rescue in the southern seas”, by Tamara Culletton; “Tales of Malanoche”, by Oscar Mingi Gutiérrez, one of the novelties of this year of the cultural editor, presented by the writer Federico Rodríguez; “The little story of Eleanor”, by Cynthia Cordi; and “Nursing: the side of the light”, by Pedro Vega.
Among the activities that remain are the presentations of “Fuego y Sur”, by Corina Amilcar and David Gudiño, on Thursday 8; “As a serpenty Ande”, by Romina Bernardini, on Friday 9, and “Twelve Summer months”, of April Rufino, on Saturday 10. That same day, in the Horacio González room, located in the same ocher pavilion where the stand of the Patagonia cultural entity is located, the day of the province will be held with the presentation of another of the novelties of the editor Fueg (1884-1991) ”, by Silvana Cecarelli.
The last activity of the cultural editor will be Sunday 11 at 5:00 p.m., when Jorge Luis Zárate present his book “Poetry for my days on Earth.”
