From the province of Córdoba to Tokyo or Osaka. The Rural development group (GDR) Cordoba has shown its gratitude through a press release on the book ‘Mozarabic cuisine’, a totally free and accessible text that recovers the gastronomic legacy of the Mozarabes and puts it in value as an essential part of the Mozarabic path of Santiago. After just a week on the network, it has already exceeded 1,000 downloads.
This social impact has made not only in the Cordoba territory, but also pass international borders. And it is currently the work being translated into Japanese. with the aim of offering Japanese pilgrims a specific cultural and culinary experience during their journey along the Mozarabic path. The initiative has started directly from Javier Zafra, author of the book, by verifying the growing interest of said public through this historical route.

The book, which is available for free and digital to facilitate your access, can be downloaded from the section of the SEMTAYR project on the Subbética GDR website. With this initiative, this group not only enhances the knowledge and enjoyment of the Mozarabic path, but also reinforces its commitment to the sustainable cultural and tourist development of the region.
On the other hand, this publication is part of the project ‘Creation of a system of management, monitoring and virtual communication for the improvement of the pilgrim experience on the Camino de Santiago Vía de la Plata – Mozarabic Camino (SEMTAYR)’, supported by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism within the program ‘Experiences Tourism Spain’, framed in the recovery, transformation and resilience plan.
