Thought as an educational tool for the secondary level, the work addresses current themes such as self -esteem, the use of social networks and internal dialogue, with the aim of promoting spaces for reflection, emotional expression and early prevention of suicide from an artistic view.
In 2023, more than 4,000 people died for suicide in Argentina, Conviring in the second cause of death among young people. Faced with this alarming reality, Maldonado created a project that combines his educational vocation with a hopeful look born of art and faith. The book was recently declared of municipal interest in the General Pueyrredón party.
“You He was born from my experience as a teacher and very deep personal experiences. Today I feel the need and commitment to accompany young people from art and the word, together with a team of committed professionals, ”said the author.
The protagonist of the book, Clau, is a common teenager who experiences intense emotions that sometimes “talk to each other.” The story, brief but powerful, invites readers to identify with their experiences and to rethink fundamental aspects of life.
In addition to his career as a teacher with more than 15 years of experience, Claudia Maldonado has a degree in music with guidance in musical education from the UNLP, and leads Mutarte, an organization dedicated to adolescent well -being through art.
The presentation of You It adds to the outstanding activities of the Fair, with a proposal that seeks to transform realities through literature, music and social commitment.
