Trump’s statement occurred one day after Powell mocked on social networks and wrote: “There may be a deceleration of the economy, unless the Lord too late, a great loser, lowers interest rates, NOW”The comment of the US president unleashed panic among investors, which caused a strong drop in the US dollar and in the actions of Wall Street. Meanwhile, Trump said he hopes to reach an agreement with China to significantly reduce US tariffs to imports of Chinese products, compared to the 145% rate he announced at the beginning of this month. American warned that the reduction will not imply eliminating tariffs.
