The Popular party wants to take advantage of the evolution of the BBVA OPA to Banco Sabadell as part of its arsenal of arms to erode the government. Alberto Núñez Feijóo has criticized that Pedro Sánchez opens a public consultation phase before the Council of Ministers made a decision on the banking offensive. He considers that it is an improper procedure, “it is not serious or professional,” because it implies a neglect of responsibilities: “a government has to decide,” Feijóo said. The consultation is not included in the law, the president of the PP has stressed, and marks a precedent, while opening the door to build “a narrative of victors and defeated.”
For Feijóo, the only consultation that the Government should convene are “an elections”, and has shaved President Sánchez who only wants to put the ear to what issues: “Tomorrow there is a debate in Congress about an expense of 10,000 million euros […] And that is not going to consult, ”he criticized, in reference to the proposal to raise 2% of the GDP. The opposition leader has indicated that the consultation on the OPA generates many doubts and has pointed out that“ governing is indeligible ”. He warns that, after the pronouncement of the CNMC, the executive has to get wet, and not choose to disclose a“ populist message ” As the operation ends, a claim of patrimonial responsibilities for the State can be a claim.
The manifestations of Feijóo arrive a day after Pedro Sánchez announced, on Monday and also in the Cercle d’acomia days, which opened a public consultation phase to collect opinions that help the Ministry Council to issue a decision with “guarantees”.
Núñez Feijóo has tried to touch the public fiber, appealing to “sanpt“Catalan, but also pointing out the malfunction of services such as train or lack of investments, two recurring claims in Catalonia. Reflection has served as ammunition to the popular leader to attack the government,” it is an element of distrust, “he said, while accused of commanding” the most useless legislature of democracy “and being unable to generate” prosperity. ” Sánchez’s executive plays to defend his management is to hold on to infuse fear of change: “This government only survives at the expense of proclaiming that the alterantiva would be worse.”
The general secretary of the PP, Cuca Gamarra, criticized on Tuesday the public consultation announced by the chief of the Executive, Pedro Sánchez, before the public acquisition offer (OPA) launched by the BBVA on Banco Sabadell, since, in his opinion, we must undergo “the established procedures” and not generate “legal insecurity.”
“This is not part of the procedure, which we are in arbitrariness,” said Gamarra after attending the informative breakfast of the president of Abside Media, José Luis Restán, organized by the New Player Economy.
Speaking to the media, Gamarra has insisted that this consultation is not part of the procedure and has stressed that before a “so serious” issue it would be “good” that in Spain they had a government that “did not enter this type of derivatives.”
“Now he wants to consult when the Spaniards consult us absolutely anything. He did not consult us about the amnesty and, nevertheless, he wants to consult us about something that has an already perfectly established procedure,” he said.
The ‘number two’ of the PP has assured that these types of procedures “are evidently arbitrary” and has reiterated that “those derived from what affects the markets and, therefore, the regulated sectors are not to go there.”
This Monday, the Deputy Secretary of Economy of the PP, Juan Bravo, said before the OPA launched by the BBVA on Sabadell that the party leader, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has asked that the competition be respected, protects SMEs, freelancers and free trade, and stressed that, therefore, if the “guarantees” are not given, its party “will be against it” of that OPA.
