USA. The Netflix streaming platform experienced an important global interruption on Thursday that has left millions of users without access to the service, generating failures when logging and showing various error codes.
According to the specialized site Downdetectorthe problems began around 2:00 pm (east time) and mainly affected cities such as Boston, New York, Chicago, Dallas and Los Angeles, where Netflix is headquarters.
The interruption caused numerous users to receive messages such as “cannot be connected to Netflix, try it again”, and report errors such as the TVQ-ST-149 code.
Several subscribers expressed their frustration on platforms such as Reddit and the Downdector forums.
Some reported difficulties to access their profiles, user name changes and the impossibility of reproducing content.
“I closed session in my PS5 and now I can’t enter again. The same error message always appears,” wrote a user in Washington.
Others claimed to have contacted the Netflix customer service, where they were confirmed that it was a generalized failure and that the technicians were already working on a solution.

Meanwhile, on its official website, Netflix warned that waiting times in the support chat were greater than usual due to the high volume of consultations.
So far, the company has not issued an official statement detailing the causes of the ruling or how long the interruption is expected to last.
Netflix currently has more than 300 million subscribers worldwide, including more than 81 million in the United States.
What this incident turns into one of the most significant in recent years in terms of impact on its users.
