ENAP reports that its utilities climbed 17.1% in the first quarter of 2025 | Economy

“This increase is, to a large extent, by the Greater sale of own valuable production of the refining and marketing line (R&C), which contributed an increase equivalent to US $ 82 million. This operational management allowed to compensate for the reduction of international refining margins and a higher cost in the raw basket, ”said the company.

Julio Friedmann, general manager of ENAP, described as “excellent” the results of the first quarter of 2025.

“They reflect our operational and strategic management, with improvements in the production of high margin products, import reduction and optimization of logistics costs, among others. Despite a challenging market environment, with lower international refining margins and fluctuations in crude , we have managed to improve our results (…),” he said.

As for the result for business lines, refining and marketing (R&C), it reached a US $ 143.3 million, exceeding US $ 123.3 million from the previous year.

This increase is mainly explained by the Greater sales of own valuable production, due to a in the sales mix and an optimization of logistics costs.
