The investigation of the murder of Sara Millerey, which occurred on April 4 in Bello, Antioquia, took a turn after the announcement made by the Attorney General’s Office this Friday, May 2, where it was revealed that at least six more people would have participated in the crime that has shocked the country.
The information was released during the charges of charges against Juan Camilo Muñoz Gaviria, aka “Teta”, who was captured on April 30 in a joint operation between the national Police and the investigating entity. This hearing had been previously postponed and now resumed with new probative elements.
According to Saúl León, a lawyer who represents the victim’s family, The Prosecutor’s Office would already have identified a second person who would have participated directly in the murder. The defense, in addition, raised the hypothesis that crime could be motivated by hatred towards the gender identity of Sara Millerey, which would configure a case of transfminicide.
The authorities continue to advance in the investigation to completely clarify this case that has generated national outrage, while in the next few days new catches related to this brutal crime will occur.
