After the earthquake that was recorded last night in Ciudad Juárez, so far two minor replicas have been recorded, reported state civil protection,
Luis Corral Torresdey, State Civil Protection Coordinator, announced that, after the earthquake of magnitude 5.3 Richter degrees recorded yesterday, at least two aftershocks have been presented.
The official stressed that these are minor replicas, of less than 2.9 degrees on the Richter scale.
He also commented that special attention has been given to the Torre Campestre buildings, to the Rio Grande shopping center, to a Social Security clinic, as well as a freight company, due to the preventive evacuation that was carried out during the seismic event.
He stressed that so far there are no records of injured people or structural damage such as the earthquake.
The agency recommended that the population remain informed through official channels and follow the security indications against any possible replica or new seismic activity.
