The spring classic of Mount successfully closed three days of regatta in which the crews had to strive to navigate with showers, , enclosed, roles and a lot of competition.

After three days of competition, this Sunday the Repsol Trophy of Mount Real Club de Yates, with a stage between Sanxenxo and the Cíes Islands in which the fleet navigated with a sustained northwest wind of about 7 knots on average.

The champions of this quadrages seventh edition of the spring regatta of Mount Real were April Oils (ORC 1-3), the Deep Blue 2.1 (ORC 4-5), El Salaño Dos (two), the Bonaventure (Extra ORC), the IV Gaifar (J80) and the Ladueira (Fígaro).

ORC class 1-3

The April oils of the brothers Luis and Jorge Pérez Canal (RCN Vigo) was proclaimed winner of the Orc 1-3 class, after a solid performance in the three competition days. The two achieved in the first and second day allowed him to compensate for the fourth place he signed this Sunday and with it get to the top of the podium and revalidate the achieved in the previous edition of the Repsol trophy.

His vigués nautical partner, the Seika de Anton Playov, closed the competition with a second position that added to the two thirds achieved in the previous days, gave him the silver medal. The Magical of Julio Rodríguez, a great rival of the April oils, failed to recover from the initial varapalo and remained out of the positions of honor, in which he did enter, thanks to the first place achieved in the last test, the Bon III of Víctor Carrión (CN Punta Lagoa).

ORC 4-5 class

With an absolute and domain of victories, the Deep Blue 2.1 of Vicente Cid, was imposed with authority in the ORC 4-5 class. The crew of the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo, firm and constant throughout the trophy, is confirmed as one of the strongest of the Galician nautical panorama.

The Bonaventure of José Luis Ríos, also of the Vigués nautical, with partials of 3-2-2, maintained its regularity and secured the second drawer of the podium, while the harpoon IV Seida of Iñaki Carbajo (CN Beluso), was third.

ORC class to two

Unbeatable from beginning to end, Jacobo neighbor and Brenda Maure rose with the victory of class to two aboard the two. Winning the three trophy tests with a plenary (1-1-1) that he demonstrated again, in case someone had doubts, which formed a great team, commented and experienced.

Extra Orc class

The Bonaventure of José Luis Ríos (RCN Vigo) achieved the victory of the ORC Extra class he scored three first positions in the three tests disputed and taking the title clearly.

The competition in this category made the clubs that occupied the provisional podiums vary, and it was the Javitudo of Pedro Barbosa (CV Atlántico) who took second place, followed by the Ladueira de Elena Raga (MRCyB), which was third of extra and first of the Fígaro category, which also competed within this class.

After the Ladueira, with the gold, the Bouvente de Aruskabotana and the Serralleiras of Javier Bernardez, with silver and bronze appear at the top of the .

J80 class

In the J80 class one of the most interesting disputes of the Repsol Trophy, the one maintained by the Gaifar IV of Yago Osuna and the uproar of Juan Carlos Ameneiro, both of the Real Real Club de Yates. Gaifar IV began winning after imposing himself in Thursday’s test. On , the uproar signed a brilliant performance and stole the leadership. And this Sunday, the papers were invested again. The Osuna won again relegating the uproar to the second position. Both ended up 7 points and with the same partials, but the best of the Gaifar IV in the last test was what gave him the final victory.

Another of the outstanding monotypes of the competition was Carlota Hernández’s lodge, who sailed very well all days and managed to sneak into the final podium, taking the bronze medal.
