The prosecutors said that Landon hit and strangled the girl in April 2023. The stepmother then left the remains of the little girl in a cube in front of the girl’s mother’s house.
Landon declared himself “not guilty” for “reason for madness,” reports People. The crime occurred in Louisiana and horrified the world. Bella’s mother found her remains in the courtyard of her house, inside a bucket of 13 gallons. A video captured Landon pushing a car with a cube, where he had put the body of 48 pounds of the girl, who left in his mother’s house, who lived one block away. Minutes later, the father returned home and reported that his girlfriend and her Bella daughter were missing.
