The government of Zacatecas, through the state Coordination of Civil Protection, informed that there are important advances in the control and suffocation of the fires of the municipalities of Moyahua, Monte Escobedo and Apozol.
Jorge Gallardo Álvarez, state coordinator of Civil Protection, said that the fire of the municipality of Moyahua, in the avocado ravine, has 90 percent liquidation and a 100 percent fire control.
The foregoing, thanks to the coordination of efforts of authorities and brigades of the three government orders, as well as volunteers, who applied various fire combat techniques to avoid their propagation.
During the work done in this demarcation, a brigadist of the National Forestry Commission (Conafor) was injured from a knee, due to a fall suffered at the fire site, so it was immediately helped and taken from the area.
In the municipality of Apozol, there are also important advances in suffocation tasks, as there is 100 percent fire control and a 90 percent settlement, according to preliminary reports that have been received from the emergency area.
Finally, in the municipality of Monte Escobedo, in the site known as El Mastranto, it advances in fire control; Once you have the preliminary information, it will be announced by the official channels.
