3-2. Tigres, first semifinalist of the Concacaf Champions Cup

Argentine Nicolás Ibáñez, Uriel Antuna and the Brazilian Romulo converted the goals of triumph. Joseph Paintsil and Colombian Carlos Garcés discounted.

Tigres went ahead in the 9th minute with an assistance from Diego Laíneza Ibáñez, who marked head.

Galaxy had a hard time accommodating and in 10 he fit the second goal, a left -handed blow from Antuna to pass from Brazilian Rafael Carioca.

The team cut ground with a goal in the 40th minute of Paintsil derived from an error by Brazilian Joaquim.

The goal increased the tension of the duel because the galaxy was closer to the draw and the classification thanks to the visitor’s goal.

Romulo turned the 3-1 head in the 57th minute, but three minutes later the Americans put a goal of difference again with a touch of Garcés in a corner shot.

The duel continued with the two teams overturned to the attack.

Tigres kept the order in the defense and signed the pass to the phase of the four best in which he will face the best of the series between Cruz Azul and America that will be decided later.
