YPF He is preparing a new system with which you can see in Real time the demand for all the service stations that it has in the country, which in turn will allow you to increase or reduce gasoline prices according to the amount of sales. It is expected to be implemented as of June 23.
This system -denominated “micropricing“- was driven by Horacio Marínpresident and CEO of the oil company, and aims to improve market share and increase YPF’s profit margin.
The system will work through the Real Time Intelligence Center (RTIC)a monitoring center located in the corporate tower of YPF in Puerto Madero, and that will begin operating on June 23.
This will be the second real -time control center of the company: the first was inaugurated in December to supervise the exploration and production activities in Vaca Muerta.
“We are going to inaugurate on June 23 a RTIC for service stations, which will allow us to see in real time the consumption of gasoline and diesel of all the suppliers of Argentina. Let’s say that in a town where little is consumed at night and we lose money, so we can lower the costs, generate the self -describe and lower the prices of the gasoline. In this way, we will be more profitable and people load more cheaper“Marín said in a radio interview.
