Currently, the Department has sent an official office to the Director of the Department of Health of the province of NAM Dinh, requesting urgent instructions to the relevant parties to review the process of receiving and emergency care treatment for MTA children at the Nam Dinh General Hospital.
At the same time, people and groups should be rigorous if violations are detected. The Ministry of Health also asked the NAM Dinh Provincial Health Department to coordinate with the National Children’s Hospital to detect professional limitations (if any) and correct them quickly.
Previously, on May 3, a 2 -minute clip circulated on social networks about the incident that occurred at the Nam Dinh Provincial Hospital. A man saw a child having an accident with a homemade tricycle and took the child to the emergency room. At the Nam Dinh General Hospital, medical staff demanded the total payment of the hospital deposit before emergency treatment.
A rapid May 4 report from the Nam Dinh General Hospital said that at 4:03 pm on April 3, MTA (4 years) was taken to the hospital after a traffic accident in a conscious state, crying a lot, with a scratch in the right elbow, without difficulty breathing and without cyanosis.
The child was examined and classified by an orthopedist and general surgeon (although the patient had not yet registered for the exam or paid). – Patients may only be forced to pay the costs of medical exams and treatments as prescribed by law.
