Investigated in Moraleja after fleeing from the Civil Guard and throwing half a kilo of marijuana to the ground

The Civil Guard has intervened 544 grams of marijuana buds and has investigated a man for a crime of drug trafficking in Moraleja. The man fled by the agents, driving recklessly through the city, and subsequently detached from the substances throwing the bag to the ground, specifically to an area with vegetation.

The events happened on April 26. Within a preventive service to avoid the consumption and distribution of narcotics in leisure and fun areas, a patrol observed that a vehicle committed an administrative infraction in road safety. When they were going to notify it, the driver undertook the flight at high speed, circulating recklessly through the streets of the town and putting at serious risk the safety of the pedestrians and other users of the road.

Both the vehicle and the driver were recognized by the agents that hours later, located the car parked in another area of ​​the town. As a result, an investigation began to locate the driver in which several neighbors collaborated, providing coincident testimonies by indicating that the suspect had descended from the vehicle carrying a black plastic bag and had fled at the foot of the place.

The agents thoroughly inspected the area and managed to locate the aforementioned bag between the existing vegetation in the place, which contained 544 grams of marijuana buds. Finally, they were able to determine the alleged authorship of the facts.

On April 29, the individual was investigated as an alleged author of a drug trafficking crime. The proceedings were made available to the Court of First Instance and Instruction, acting in Guard, of Coria.

This action is part of the Police Response Plan for consumption and retail drug trafficking in leisure and fun areas of the province, with the aim of guaranteeing citizen security and preventing the consumption of narcotic substances.
