Rubio explained that the transfer of Venezuelans was made thanks to a “precise operation” and extended “their gratitude” to “all the personnel involved in this operation” and the “partners who contributed to the safe release of these Venezuelan heroes.”
Since August, the Embassy remains under the protection of Brazil -after the expulsion of Argentine diplomats -even when the Maduro government revoked this authorization in September for the alleged planning of terrorist acts inside the headquarters by the asylees.
