“A woman full of life, delivered to her profession and with an immense heart,” described the father of Adolmairis Quintero to the young psychologist, who was one of the five people who died in A serious traffic accident On the sidewalk La Montañita, of the municipality of Dibulla, La Guajira. The accident happened on the afternoon of Tuesday, April 7. The truck, which transported eight people, returned from the corregimiento of the Punta de los Remedios. According to the authorities, it was an extramural health care team assigned to the Ministry of Health that attended vulnerable and dispersed population.
After the road incident, whose causes are still investigated by the authorities, five drowned people died: driver Hugo Nelson Gil Villar, 49; The psychologist Adolmairis Quintero, 24; The social worker Yilda Redondo, 27, and the nursing assistants Ivana Moscote, 32, and Isaura María Moscote, 51.
Ana Carolina Mulford Mieles, 31, were also in the vehicle; Nurse Karina Ramos, 38, and nutritionist Lilibeth Gómez Moscote, 50, who suffered minor injuries and are out of danger. According to the Ministry of Health, they are also receiving psychological support.
