One of the most shocking moments of his story was the meeting with an entrepreneur who, far from promoting his career, almost led her to abandon her dream of being an artist.

The feature film, which has as its central axis the stadium tour of the artist, explores the key moments that defined their path to success. Karol G, whose real name is Carolina Navarro, said that his passion for music was born from a young age, influenced by his paternal family.
However, not everything was simple. At 16, he decided to move to Bogotá in search of opportunities that would allow him to make himself known in the music industry. It was then that an entrepreneur approached with a proposal that seemed promising.
“He was a great businessman and started talking about an impressive project that was going to happen to me,” the singer recalled in the documentary. The initial offer generated enthusiasm and hope, which led Karol G and his team to accept working with him. However, what began as an opportunity full of promises, soon became an experience that tested its determination.
Although Karol did not reveal the identity of the man, he confessed that after having worked several months with her, he organized a meeting to celebrate the singer’s birthday in the capital, an invitation to which she agreed. “When I get home, and after talking for a while, he approaches and tells me that he was starting to feel something for me,” said Carolina.
In the documentary the interpreter also confesses that the man approached her in order to establish a romantic relationship with her, “I was 16 years old and that person, at that time, I am sure that I could be about 45 or 50 years old,” he added to his statements.
The bitterness singer explained that at that time the man conditioned her career, because she told her that she did not accept to have a relationship beyond work, she could not continue promoting her career.
“He tells me: ‘Karol, is that I feel that if nothing is going to happen, I want you to tell me at once because the music is not going to work,’ My heart broke my heart because I was putting me in a situation where all my dream you are conditioned to me, ”Karol said.
After confessing the harassment of which he passed, the singer confessed that at that time she did not have the courage to tell her parents, so she simply decided to inform them that she did not want to continue in the music, excusing that she had simply tired of trying.
“I never dared to tell my parents, I just told them that I didn’t want to continue in music and that for my dad was very painful”Said the singer, detailing that at that time he decides to move with her aunt to New York to study English.
However, the destruction of her dreams by the businessman made her fall into a depression that confessed that she only cried and sleeping. “I woke up and I just wanted to cry and sleep … I had already taken my dream, I had already disappointed me about music,” the singer revealed.
After spending time in New York with his aunt, he returned to take strength to tell his parents that he wanted to continue in music, but with a different manager. “My parents made impressive economic efforts only to get me out of the contract with the manager and I left them indebted for years, but they gave me the new beginning I needed,” he added The singer.
