To publicize the advances of Chilean mining; the regulations; The public and private actions, the president of the Mining Chamber of Chile, Manuel Viera together with directors of the Guild Association, met with the general director of the Mining Chamber of Mexico, Camimex, Karen Flores, during his stay in our country.
On the occasion, directors Walter Muñoz and Carlos Delgado were also present and as special guests the partner, mining lawyer and former national director of the National Service of Geology and Mining, Sernageomin, Alfonso Domeyko and Enrique Valdivieso, who is also former executive vice president of the National Mining Company, Enami.
The meeting was aimed at transferring the good practices that have been carried out in the country with respect to Chilean mining, both from the actions that Sernageomin and Enami, respectively. To which the talk of the director of the Mining Chamber of Chile, Walter Muñoz, regarding the rescue commission he leads and that has the support of the union. All issues aimed at contributing to Mexican mining.
On the occasion, the president of the Mining Chamber of Chile, Manuel Viera, said it is important to share those positive things that can contribute to mining. “Beyond the borders, we are all interested in that mining in the world develops in the best way, with good practices and sustainable. That is why this meeting was created in which we made known what has been done in Chile.”
He added that “for the Chilean Chamber of Chile it is of the utmost importance to gesture alliances with the aim of generating more and better mining, and contributing to the entire ecosystem that surrounds it. Therefore, we hope to generate instances of collaboration that benefit the activity in both countries,” said Viera.
Meanwhile, Karen Flores, thanked the meeting, of which he highlighted the information delivered, which he hopes to share with his associates to his return to Mexico. “This meeting was very good, full of technicians and experts in mining security and very grateful to share their knowledge with us,” he said.
Regarding a potential collaboration agreement, he said that: “Sharing experiences and good practices will always enrich us all as a camera, but beyond that, Chile is a country with a great experience in mining, Mexico has a great mining vocation, with more than 500 years of development of this activity. Sharing our experiences strengthens us both nations as mining countries,” he concluded.
Finally, the president of the Mining Chamber of Chile, Manuel Viera, thanked the presence of the general director of Camimex and all the professionals who met to highlight what the country does around one of the most important activities in the economic sector, such as mining. “We are preparing an agreement for a Mexican Chilean mining alliance,” he concluded.
